For Adekunle

Today was a great day for Odesola Adekunle ( fictitious name) as he got his freedom restored after Three years spent at the Ilesha Prison in Osun state.

As a follow up activity, members of the Rehab Team were at the Ilesha Prison to meet him at the point of discharge.

As a step towards his reintegration, Young Odesola was reunited with his family in a small village called Inisa, in Osun state.

While expressing her profound Joy in tears, the mother of the Ex-convict stated that in the past five years, she has not seen her son, and at a point, she had wished for death to take her, in order to stop thinking about her missing son.

The Rehab team however, emphasized the need for proper care for the Ex-convict and encouraged him to stay away from crime.

On his part, Odesola, thanked the Rehab team for the show of love , he promised to stay away from crime and all forms of incriminating activities. He however solicited for more support from the team. According to him, he learnt Bricklaying as a vocation and would need more tools.
